Indonesia could recognize Israel if it honors 2-state solution

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has made a bold statement, declaring that his country would only consider establishing diplomatic ties with Israel if it recognizes a Palestinian state. This statement, which was made during his talks with French President Emmanuel Macron, has garnered attention from the international community and has been hailed as a positive step towards achieving peace in the Middle East.

President Subianto’s stance on the matter reaffirms Indonesia’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and their right to self-determination. The Indonesian leader has always been a vocal advocate for Palestinian rights and has taken a strong stance against the ongoing conflict in the region. His latest statement is a clear indication of Indonesia’s commitment to finding a just and lasting solution for the Palestinian people.

During his meeting with President Macron, President Subianto emphasized the need for Israel to recognize the Palestinian state, as it is a crucial step towards establishing peace in the region. He also called for an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories, which has been a major obstacle in the peace process.

The Indonesian President’s words have struck a chord with many, especially in the Muslim world, as Indonesia is the world’s most populous Muslim-majority country. The country has been a staunch supporter of the Palestinian cause for decades and has played a pivotal role in advocating for their rights on various international platforms.

It is worth noting that Indonesia has never had diplomatic relations with Israel, even though both countries are recognized members of the United Nations. This is due to Indonesia’s strong stance of solidarity with the Palestinian people, and the country has always maintained that it will not establish ties with Israel until the Palestinian issue is resolved.

President Subianto’s statement is also a testament to Indonesia’s independent foreign policy, which is based on the principles of non-alignment and neutrality. Indonesia has always taken a firm stand on issues of injustice and has been a voice for the oppressed and marginalized communities around the world. This latest stance on Israel further strengthens Indonesia’s position as a global leader in promoting peace and social justice.

The international community has lauded President Subianto’s statement, with many leaders praising Indonesia for its unwavering support for the Palestinian people. French President Emmanuel Macron expressed his appreciation for Indonesia’s commitment to finding a peaceful solution for the Palestinian issue and pledged his country’s support for this cause.

The Palestinian government has also welcomed President Subianto’s statement, calling it a significant step towards achieving a just and lasting peace in the region. The Palestinian Ambassador to Indonesia, Zuhair Al-Shun, stated that the Palestinian people are grateful for Indonesia’s continued support and that President Subianto’s words have given hope to the Palestinian people.

In conclusion, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto’s statement on only considering diplomatic ties with Israel if it recognizes a Palestinian state is a significant development in the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. It reaffirms Indonesia’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their right to self-determination. This statement also reflects Indonesia’s commitment to promoting peace and social justice on the global stage. It is a call for the international community to take action towards finding a just and lasting solution for the Palestinian people.
