Here Is the Logic Behind Making Canada the 51st State

On Tuesday’s “Alex Marlow Show,” host and Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow discussed the idea of making Canada the 51st state of the United States. This may seem like a far-fetched idea, but Marlow argues that it could bring numerous benefits to both countries. With the current global political climate, the idea of expansion and strengthening alliances has become increasingly important. And the incorporation of Canada as a state could do just that.

Marlow’s main argument for this bold suggestion is that “expanding is good, in general.” And he’s absolutely right. Expansion has historically been a crucial factor in the growth and success of nations. Just look at how the United States itself has expanded from thirteen colonies to fifty states, becoming one of the most powerful nations in the world. So why shouldn’t we continue this trend and expand our borders further north to include Canada?

One of the biggest advantages of making Canada the 51st state is the strengthening of our alliance. The U.S. and Canada already have a close relationship, sharing the longest undefended border in the world. Both countries have similar values and ideologies, making for a natural partnership. By officially making Canada a state, we solidify this bond and ensure that our two countries can work together even more closely in the future. This is especially important in light of the current global political climate, where alliances and partnerships are crucial for maintaining stability and security.

But it’s not just about strengthening our alliance. Incorporating Canada as a state would also bring numerous economic benefits. With a combined population of over 360 million people, the U.S. and Canada would have a larger market and greater economic power. This could result in increased trade and investment opportunities, creating jobs and boosting the economy on both sides of the border. Additionally, the resources and industries of both countries could complement each other, leading to increased productivity and competitiveness in the global market.

Another aspect to consider is the strategic advantage of having Canada as a state. Currently, the U.S. and Canada share a border that is largely unguarded and unprotected. This makes it vulnerable to threats from outside forces, such as China. By incorporating Canada as a state, the U.S. would have greater control over its entire continent and be in a better position to defend against any potential threats. This would also enable us to push back against Chinese influence, which has been growing in recent years.

Of course, there are some potential challenges and obstacles to making Canada a state. One of the main concerns would be the cultural and linguistic differences between the two countries. However, this could also be seen as an opportunity for cultural exchange and learning. And with Canada already being a bilingual country, it wouldn’t be a significant barrier to overcome.

Another concern would be the political implications and the effect on Canada’s current government. However, this could be addressed by allowing Canada to maintain some degree of autonomy while still being a state within the U.S. This could also help to alleviate any fears of losing Canadian identity and sovereignty.

Overall, the idea of making Canada the 51st state may seem like a radical idea, but it’s one that could bring numerous benefits to both countries. Strengthening our alliance, boosting the economy, and enhancing our strategic advantage are just a few of the advantages that could come from this decision. It’s time to seriously consider the logic behind making Canada a state and the potential it holds for a brighter and more secure future for both the U.S. and Canada.
