Vance: Minerals Deal ‘A Way Better Security Guarantee’ than European Troops, It’s ‘Long-Term Investment in Their Sovereignty’

During an interview on Monday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Vice President JD Vance expressed his support for the recent minerals deal between the United States and Ukraine, stating that it would be a long-term investment in Ukrainian sovereignty and a way better security guarantee than European troops.

Vance praised the deal as a positive step towards strengthening the relationship between the US and Ukraine, while also emphasizing the importance of investing in the sovereignty of our ally.

“This minerals deal is not just about resources, it’s about investing in the sovereignty of a nation that has been under threat from Russia for far too long,” Vance stated. “We need to show our allies that we are committed to their security, and this deal is a great way to do that.”

The Vice President also highlighted the significance of the deal as a long-term investment, rather than a short-term solution. “This is not just a one-time transaction, this is a long-term investment in Ukraine’s sovereignty. It shows our commitment to standing by our allies and supporting them in their fight for independence.”

He further stressed that this deal would provide a better security guarantee for Ukraine than relying solely on European troops. “European troops may come and go, but this minerals deal is a permanent investment in their sovereignty. It’s a way better security guarantee than relying on the presence of foreign troops.”

Vance also addressed concerns about potential backlash from Russia and reassured that the US is prepared to handle any threats. “We are not afraid of Russian backlash. We are a strong and powerful nation, and we will not let anyone intimidate us or our allies. We stand with Ukraine and we will continue to support them.”

The Vice President’s comments come after the recent minerals deal between the US and Ukraine, which will see the US providing resources and technology to help Ukraine with its mining industry. This deal is seen as a strategic move to counter Russian influence in the region and strengthen the US-Ukraine partnership.

The deal has received widespread support from leaders and experts, who see it as a positive step towards bolstering Ukraine’s economy, as well as its sovereignty. It is also seen as a clear message to Russia that the US is committed to standing by its allies and countering any aggression.

In conclusion, Vice President JD Vance’s statement on the minerals deal between the US and Ukraine highlights the significance of this agreement as a long-term investment in Ukrainian sovereignty and a way better security guarantee than European troops. It sends a strong message to Russia and reaffirms the US’s commitment to supporting its allies. This deal is a testament to the strong and enduring partnership between the US and Ukraine, and it is a step in the right direction towards ensuring a secure and prosperous future for both nations.
