The National Archives Welcomes New Directors

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Tobi Adetimilehin as the new Finance Director of The National Archives. Tobi officially started her term on 8th December 2025 and will be leading the Finance and Performance teams with her extensive knowledge and experience.

Tobi brings with her a wealth of expertise in financial management and a strong track record of success in the public sector. She has previously served as the Deputy Director of Finance for Strategic Programmes and the Future Combat Air System Programme at the Ministry of Defence.

Tobi’s appointment comes at a crucial time for The National Archives as we navigate through these challenging times. Her proven leadership skills and strategic mindset will be invaluable in ensuring the financial stability and sustainability of our organization.

With over 15 years of experience in financial management, Tobi has a deep understanding of the complexities and challenges involved in managing a large organization. Her impressive academic background and her experience in both the private and public sectors make her a perfect fit for the role of Finance Director at The National Archives.
