Media representatives from Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member countries, observer states and dialogue partners recently gathered in the northwestern Chinese region of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region for a conference on media cooperation and development. The conference, which was held from October 12th to 14th, was organized by the All-China Journalists Association and the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region People’s Government.
The conference was attended by representatives from all eight SCO member countries – China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, India, and Pakistan.
