In a recent appearance on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends,” Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem did not hold back when it came to calling out the mainstream media and congressional Democrats for their embrace of suspected MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
During the interview, Noem expressed her frustration and disappointment with the media and Democrats for “wrapping their arms around” Garcia, who has been charged with human smuggling, domestic violence, and other violent crimes.
Noem began by highlighting the severity of Garcia’s crimes, stating that he is a “human smuggler, a wife beater, and a violent criminal.” She then went on to criticize the media and Democrats for not only ignoring these charges, but also actively supporting Garcia.
“It’s truly disturbing to see the media and Democrats embracing someone like Garcia,” Noem said. “This is a man who has shown a complete disregard for human life and the law. Yet, they are treating him like some kind of hero.”
Noem also pointed out the hypocrisy of the media and Democrats, who have been quick to condemn the actions of law enforcement officers, but are now turning a blind eye to the crimes committed by Garcia.
“It’s ironic that the same people who are quick to criticize law enforcement officers for doing their job are now defending a criminal like Garcia,” Noem stated. “This just shows their complete lack of respect for our law enforcement and the rule of law.”
Noem also expressed her concern about the message this sends to the American people, especially those who have been victims of MS-13 violence.
“By embracing Garcia, the media and Democrats are essentially saying that his actions are acceptable and that it’s okay to break the law and harm innocent people,” Noem said. “This is not the message we should be sending to the American people, especially to those who have been impacted by the brutal violence of MS-13.”
Noem also called on the media and Democrats to take a step back and reevaluate their priorities.
“It’s time for the media and Democrats to stop playing politics and start prioritizing the safety and security of our country,” Noem urged. “We cannot continue to turn a blind eye to criminals like Garcia and expect to keep our communities safe.”
In conclusion, Noem made it clear that the actions of the media and Democrats in supporting Garcia are unacceptable and must be called out.
“We cannot allow the media and Democrats to continue to embrace criminals like Garcia,” Noem stated. “We must hold them accountable and demand that they start prioritizing the safety and well-being of the American people.”
