2025 NFL Mock Draft: Breitbart’s Final Projection for Every Team in the First Round

in Americas

The 2025 NFL Draft is finally here, marking the end of months of speculation and predictions from media experts. It’s time for the actual picks to be made, and teams across the league are preparing to make their moves in the first round. As the excitement builds, Breitbart presents its final projection for every team in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

The first pick of the draft belongs to the Jacksonville Jaguars, and they are expected to select the highly-touted quarterback, Trevor Lawrence. The Clemson standout has been the consensus number one pick for months, and the Jaguars are lucky to have him as their future franchise quarterback. With his exceptional arm talent and leadership skills, Lawrence has all the tools to lead the Jaguars to success in the coming years.

Next up is the New York Jets, who have the second overall pick. Many experts believe they will choose BYU quarterback Zach Wilson, who has been rising up draft boards with his impressive performances. Wilson’s athleticism and ability to make plays on the run make him an exciting prospect for the Jets, who are in desperate need of a franchise quarterback.

At number three, the San Francisco 49ers are expected to take Ohio State’s Justin Fields. The dual-threat quarterback has all the physical tools to succeed in the NFL, and with Kyle Shanahan as his coach, the sky’s the limit for Fields. The 49ers’ offense will be a force to be reckoned with for years to come with Fields at the helm.

The Atlanta Falcons hold the fourth pick, and they are likely to take Florida tight end Kyle Pitts. Pitts is a rare talent at his position, with his size, speed, and hands making him a nightmare for opposing defenses. He will be a valuable weapon for quarterback Matt Ryan and give the Falcons’ offense a much-needed boost.

With the fifth pick, the Cincinnati Bengals are expected to select Oregon offensive tackle Penei Sewell. Protecting quarterback Joe Burrow should be the Bengals’ top priority, and Sewell is the best offensive lineman in this draft class. He will provide stability and strength to the Bengals’ offensive line, helping Burrow stay upright and healthy.

At number six, the Miami Dolphins are projected to take LSU wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase. With quarterback Tua Tagovailoa entering his second year in the league, the Dolphins need to give him a reliable weapon on the outside. Chase’s speed, route-running ability, and strong hands make him the perfect fit for Tagovailoa and the Dolphins’ offense.

The Detroit Lions hold the seventh pick, and they are expected to take Penn State linebacker Micah Parsons. Parsons is an all-around linebacker with the speed, athleticism, and instincts to make plays all over the field. He will bring a much-needed boost to the Lions’ defense and become a leader for their young unit.

The Carolina Panthers hold the eighth pick, and they are projected to take Northwestern offensive tackle Rashawn Slater. Like the Bengals, the Panthers need to protect their young quarterback, and Slater is one of the best offensive linemen in this draft. He will provide stability and versatility to the Panthers’ offensive line, giving quarterback Sam Darnold a chance to succeed.

Next up, the Denver Broncos are expected to take North Dakota State quarterback Trey Lance with the ninth pick. Lance is a raw but talented prospect with a high ceiling. He will have time to develop behind veteran quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and could become the Broncos’ franchise quarterback in the future.

At number ten, the Dallas Cowboys are projected to take Alabama cornerback Patrick Surtain II. The Cowboys’ secondary has been a weakness for years, and Surtain’s size, speed, and ball skills make him an ideal pick for them. He will bring much-needed stability and playmaking ability to their defense.

The New York Giants hold the eleventh pick, and they are expected to select Michigan edge rusher Kwity Paye. Paye is a relentless pass rusher with the speed, power, and technique to wreak havoc in the backfield. He will be a valuable addition to the Giants’ defense and help them improve their pass rush.

At number twelve, the Philadelphia Eagles are projected to take Alabama wide receiver DeVonta Smith. The Eagles desperately need playmakers on offense, and Smith’s speed, route-running ability, and hands make him a dynamic weapon. He will be a valuable target for quarterback Jalen Hurts and help revitalize the Eagles’
